I have had a dog - Springer Spaniel since I left home at 17 and have never been without 1 or more since. I am passionate about my animals and love to have them about me. It is my love for the Spaniel breed that now means I dedicate most of my spare time training and working them, doing what they were bred to do and love. It is a great experience to see a dog that you have bred and trained go out and do a brilliant days work.
I also have 3 rare breed gundogs, Nova Scotia Duck Tolling Retrievers. I have also recently added 2 working Cocker Spaniels to my kennels. All my dogs work, some beating and others picking up. I also compete when time permits in working tests and field trials.
This is a small select kennel. I occasionally breed working Springer Spaniels, working Cocker Spaniels, Nova Scotia Duck Tolling Retrievers and the delightful Sprocker. I breed selectively for temperament, trainability, style, class, stamina and hunting ability.
Previous puppies have gone on to do well whether it be for work or pet. A lot of pups have gone to the police for sniffer dog training and explosives training.
My litters are all lovingly home reared and are well socialised with children and other dogs. A lot of time is spent rearing the pups and they are therefore very well handled.
I like to keep in touch with all my puppy owners and keep up to date with the dogs as they grow up.
Help and advice is always freely available.
My other passion is photography, but I do not have as much time to indulge in this passion as I would like!
